Casal Pianos is a beautiful area to visit by itself, with amazing views of the coast. In terms of climbing it is also quite a special place being the only place around Lisbon where you can practice crack climbing and trad at the same time. Also quite different is the type of rock you find there - basalt.

| The name is quite fitting, as after a few meters of trying to jam your entire body up a crack to go up you realise you hardly moved - it's just slowing eating you up and spitting you out :p |
