bicas & borrões

And because we just had to, we WENT BACK to SORTELHA!!!
This time in a more holiday kind of mood, six days of lazy afternoons, swimming in the river, siestas in the sun, slack-lining, barbecue, delicious local bread and pastries - bicas and borrachões (borrões for some), and of course, many new lines!

The first day was passed in a new sector - "Rocklands". Here Nuno doing one of the new lines

Pena on what he considered "the" boulder of the sector - a boulder about 4m high with 6 new cool lines to play around. Only tried two myself and both, although for completely different reasons, will definitely stick in my mind :) Great fun!

Closer to the ground is the "Dwarf's roof" :: "Tecto do anão", a small but though little boulder.

And last but not least, the "Dwarf's traverse":: "Travessia do anão", a stretchy boulder, especially challenging for tall, short or stiff climbers :)  Who said size doesn't matter?!
