And down a narrow and windy fisherman's trail we went in search of a boulder only known from photos and google earth images. Hard to miss given its size.

After some looking around Pena decided on a few lines and the scrubbing and chalking began |

Chalking up "Garoupa de Ipanema" - along the arête |

"Galeão" - 7b cs |

"Galeão" - 7b

|
"Bombordo" - 8a |
|
The spot is nice but doesn't seem to have many boulder lines

But the most adventurous part of the day was yet to come. Those that have carried a crash pad on a windy day know the feeling of walking like you have a huge sail on your back, so add that to a windy, steep and narrow dirt trail more than100m up the coast :p
Still to come - "Air force one" - doing the entire arête
